The Beautiful Crying Sisters
Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived seven sisters. These sisters were known throughout the village for their beauty, intelligence, and talent. Every year, during the festival of joro, the sisters would dance and sing, bringing joy and delight to everyone around them. However, one thing was missing from their lives, something they had always longed for but never received – children. Despite being married and having husbands who adored them, the sisters were never blessed with the joy of motherhood. With each year that passed, their longing for a child grew stronger. The sisters tried everything they could think of to conceive, but nothing seemed to work. They visited doctors, healers, and even sorcerers, but none could give them the child they so desperately desired. With each failure, the pain and sorrow grew more profound, and the sisters found it harder and harder to bear. As the years went by, the sisters watched as their friends and neighbors had children of their own, while they remained childless. They saw the happiness and fulfillment that parenthood brought, and it only added to their pain. The sisters tried to find solace in each other's company, but even that was difficult. Each sister's sorrow was so deep that they found it hard to share it with anyone else. The pain of being childless became a secret burden that they carried within themselves every day. One day, a wise old woman visited the village. The sisters went to her, hoping that she would be able to help them. The wise woman listened to their story and then spoke softly, "Children are a blessing, but so is life. You have love and happiness with each other, and those are things that many people never experience. Focus on the blessings you do have, and find joy in them." The sisters were taken aback by her words. They had never thought of looking at life from that perspective before. Gradually, they began to focus on the love they shared as sisters and their good fortune in being able to support each other through their trials. They found joy in each other's company and their shared experiences.
